Membership in Next Steps
Individual Members are people who identify themselves as consumers/survivors or as “one of us.”
Annual dues: $5
Organizational Members are organizations that are consumer-run, i.e., organizations that have a majority of consumers/survivors as staff members and on the Board of Directors.
Annual dues: 0.2% of the organization’s annual operating budget.
Friends of Next Steps
(not a membership category)
Individual Friends are people who do not identify as consumers/survivors, but wish to support the mission and goals of Next Steps
Annual dues: $25
Organizational Friends are public agencies or corporations that are not consumer-run, or organizations that are consumer-run corporations but may primarily represent non-consumers, that wish to formally express support for the mission and goals of Next Steps.
Annual dues: 0.1% of the organization’s annual operating budget, up to a maximum of $3,000 per year
(All requests for fee waivers are considered individually)
